The Protector IGEL Harsh Environment Enclosure is the perfect combination of power and rugged design in a small package.

Carlisle Technology offers the Protector IGEL Harsh Environment Enclosure with a built in LCD Dis-play. The enclosure houses the IGEL unit and includes a keyboard with a field installable IP67 HE Connector. An optional wireless device is available for the IGEL units so that they can connect to the clients network. This will eliminate the need to run Ethernet cable to the location where the IGEL unit will be installed.

This unit is ideally suited for companies who want real-time data entry and program access on the shop floor for their ERP business system where regular desktop terminals cannot survive.

Optional ~ Wireless Connectivity for the IGEL Terminals Available is a CB3000 client bridge for the IGEL terminal. The CB3000 provides robust wireless con-nectivity for Ethernet enabled devices through the use of the RJ-45 port. The need to extend wiring is eliminated - reducing costs and complexity. The unit's firmware can be updated as well - ensuring that the CB3000 meets the client's networking needs today as well as tomorrow. Advanced security capabilities protect traffic from being deciphered and networks from unauthorized access.

The Protector IGEL HE Enclosure is made of Stainless Steel, equipped with a 15" TFT Active Matrix LCD Display to provide an all encompassing wash-down protective unit for the IGEL Systems. There are a number of reasons why these units are of significant value to clients.

- Having the terminal at the source of the data means that there is less room for human error and in-creased efficiencies and real-time visibility in regards to data capture.

The washable, comfortable, durable keyboard combines start-of-the-art technology with a practical design - producing the perfect key-board. The unique layout offers quick, reflexive typing action that is not only silent, but also more com-fortable than standard hard plastic keyboards. The design eliminates negative-angle wrist stress. The silicon-based material is impervious to most anything including water and cleaning solutions. The key-board cable includes a harsh environment quick disconnect connector (IP 67) so that it can be tied into the H.E. enclosure.
