As we are continually expanding and refining our solutions, we require an enthusiastic and talented Technical Sales Engineer that can rapidly understand the capabilities and benefits of our solutions, and convey them to new and existing customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing business relationships with new clients
- Understanding and navigating customer technical and purchasing organization

Visualizing and effectively communicating solutions to address customer needs

Building comprehensive solution estimates

Generating and presenting comprehensive and understandable proposals

Regularly documenting and communicating opportunities and challenges to the sales manager
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- Excellent communication skills, verbally and written
- Technical aptitude - ability to quickly understand customer requirements
- Post-secondary degree in engineering or computer science is an asset
- 5+ years experience and proven success in a Technical Sales role
- Strong attention to detail
- Creativity to adapt products to solve customer issues
- Positive attitude and confidence: we're a growing company, and you will be expected to help improve the sales and marketing process and materials
- Honesty: Our reputation depends on delivering what we promise, and promising what we can deliver.
In
addition, the candidate must be able and willing
to occasionally travel throughout North America.
Experience and existing connections within the
food industry is an asset.
